We are all creative but for a long time I didn’t believe I was. I thought the measure of my creative worth was in the red penning of efforts by my teachers or the judgement of my peers. My self-esteem was determined by the praise or criticism of others. I thought being creative was confined to making artwork, music, writing poems …
I was well into my 20’s before I was able to acknowledge that thinking creatively was something we could all do regardless of how well we could paint or make music. I have George to thank for realising my own creative potential and I’m thankful the boys have his ”I can try anything” approach. So within this page you’ll find links to my creativity in the garden and kitchen, George’s music making and the boys doing what small children do best – being experimental and having fun as artists at work.
