I love the energy of fresh starts that come with the turn of a new year.
I love having 9 years of January 1st blog posts to look back on.
I love that this year is the beginning of a whole new decade.
I reflected last year on how strange it felt to be moving forward into 2019 knowing we would be making memories with the boys without my Mum. We did make it through our first trip around the sun without her. We each celebrated our birthdays missing her but grateful for all the times she had been there.
L to R : January – birthday book reading, February – half term in Norfolk , March – world book day with Calvin and Hobbes and Dumbledore, April – Luca’s 3rd birthday at Westbury Court Gardens NT, May – Luca on the allotment with Dave, June – cousin Kian’s 4th birthday at Papa G and Nanny’s new house in Hartpury, July – favourite family holiday time in the Isle of Wight, August – 1st anniversary of Mum passing and a chilly break away to Caswell Bay in Wales (Luca didn’t seem to notice) Sept – Luca harvesting potatoes at the allotment, October – Sunday afternoon walk, November – first Weleda Christmas stall at the Maggies Christmas fair, December – annual ice skate in Gloucester with cousins Tom and Kim from Germany.
This 2019 mosaic shows just how little blogging I have done over the last year (so many stories, so little time!). I hope to remedy that this year. I love blogging and find the process of writing good for the soul and clears my head. So despite the busy-ness of training to become a Massage Therapist this year I hope to share more of our crazy life with you in 2020. Thanks so much for your continued support and comments.
