I posted these gorgeous fireworks pictures originally in a Wordless Wednesday post in 2014. They’re not my photographs but Kat Moleworth’s from Housewife Confidential who kindly agreed I could share them. I wanted to save it so that one day I could learn how to take amazing pictures of fireworks too. 4 years later and I’ve still not got round to it. That’s because when you have little children you don’t go to loud, scary fireworks displays! Even thought Euan is older now and would love to go to a display Luca is still a bit small and the displays have been at times when G is not around to mind Luca. So alas taking amazing photos of fireworks will have to wait for a few more years. Until then I get a warm, nostalgic glow looking at Kat’s pictures because it reminds me of looking out of my brother’s bedroom window and watching fireworks going off in other parts of town. Nic, I know I haven’t comment much lately, but please note I do come by and take a look. But with New Year a few hours away, I had to come by and wish you and your lovely little family a Happy Happy New Year and to say, as always thank you so much for being a lovely blogger friend and for all your support and genuine kindness over the years.
Shaheen x
aw thank you Shaheen, such lovely words to share at this reflective time of the year. I feel the same, you’ve shared my entire blogging journey and I wish I had more time for commenting on your terrific posts. Hope 2015 is full of health, happiness and time for the things you love to do x
