…puddle hopping in the rain followed by pizza for lunch is reason enough to smile isn’t it! And I didn’t even ask for that peck on the cheek – E’s such a charmer.
Such precious family time for us this month and I can’t help but share a few more highlights from our weekend away in Glastonbury which included chasing chickens and riding bikes and E’s first time playing on the beach at Burnham-on-Sea.
Lucy’s ‘Dear Beautiful’ Me and Mine post this month also reminded me of a lovely Sunday morning stroll we took through the Alney Island Nature Reserve. E was in his element riding his bike, shouting ‘moo moo’ every time he saw a cow and picking ‘yellow wowers‘.
I love these buttercup pictures of E so much it might be time to update my blog header – I feel a little pang each time I log in and see my poppy strewn allotment header and wonder how it’s really looking. Pictures of my little man serenading flowers on the other hand never fails to make my heart smile.
