Once again I have Julie to thank for inspiring me to write my first post of the New Year. Her lovely mosaic reflecting 2012 in pictures features favourite photos of her children, garden and crafted creations. Mine now features just one of our three shared interests – family. What a great year we all had (despite the lack of gardening and socialising featured in 2011 in pictures!)
Jan-Dec 2012
look what we made – first trip out in the car, 3 week old E meets 94 year old great Nan, E discovers laughing, celebrating E’s auspicious 100 days Chinese style, Uncle Jim and Aunty Nat wed, first Father’s Day, first trip to the beach with R & J, with cousin Kim at the allotment, bathtime love, family M scrub up for some ‘proper’ photos, first visit to the Zoo, first Christmas.

Love the collection so much – such happy times 🙂
Must do this – but my unorganised photos make it so difficult! SO this year I am filing my pics by the month cos I know we have so much fun!
Happy New Year Nic. A great round up of your year, and at such a precious time for your family. I wish you a great 2013
I’m thinking, 2 big events this January. Euan’s first birthday and
he could be walking, on his own, by the end of the month.
That is progress.See you soon.
Hi Nic, wishing you and the family a very Happy New Year! beautiful pics and memories of 2012
Wendy – already looking forward to more E action shots to choose from for 2013 in pictures
Denise – sorting photos is about the only thing I find the energy for in the evenings! I’m might not be blogging here but I have a private blog for E so that grandparents/distant friends can keep up with what he’s doing so I had a good source of pics ready to select from
Mel – happy new year to you too, fingers crossed for a better growing year in 2013 :o)
Dad – I think you’re right! Look forward to celebrate both occasions with you
Peggy – thank you Peggy, ditto to you and yours x
Wishing you a lovely new year! I’m so glad my birthday banner tutorial was helpful for you. Hooray for January babies. I have two boys born in January. 🙂 Best wishes.
thank you for popping over Chris. I hope you have a terrific time celebrating your sons birthdays. I’ll take some pics of E’s banner for you (making it abandoned this week to get some muffins in the freezer for the party!) cheerio, N
Just gorgeous. I might try and do one, but have no idea how to make a montage! Euan is such a little star xx
thanks Lynne. I use Mosaic Maker – it’s free and easy but a few tips for use … make reduced size copies of your pictures to upload for your mosaic otherwise it’ll be too slow loading. Each picture gets trimmed a bit when putting several together in a mosaic so you need to allow for that so you don’t lose important details. Can be fiddly but if you enjoy it as a creative process it’s well worth the effort.
Ooh thanks, Nic. I might have to have a go x
