divine beings who give unconditional love – I believe that is the definition of the domesticated feline! Lovely photos!
cats are so good at contentment – if only I had such a relaxed life but I do appreciate the little victories like just having vaccummed the carpet
This was a lovely thing to read on this gorgeous Sunday morning – enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂
Contentment of a cat – a beautiful post and thank you for the reminder.
Nina xxx
Kirsten – I agree with the Kirsten dictionary :o)
Johanna – with cats in the home vacuuming is a BIG victory. Well done you x
Catherine – thank you, you too!
Nina – your post about untidy homes inspired it by reminding me that I’m not the only one trying to do much. So thank you x
Well your cats certainly look contented, they don’t care about tidiness do they!!!
Love this post, not just like x
Well, our cat Cupid enjoys those same things except the hot bath.
Her legs become eight foot wide when we attempt to put her into the sink.
thanks Nic, I needed to be reminded of that
Ann – they favour untidy in fact, especially Mikey who loves nothing better than to occupy any clothing left in an unusual place!
Anita – pleased to hear that 😉
Tom – I can picture the scene! Much as cats hate water these cats seem to enjoy chilling out in empty sinks – cats in sinks
M – I did too! Glad you liked it
Messy house – refers to untidy bedroom of your youth?
sound sleep oh yes, good food brings in your mum for sure,
hot baths – agreed, and unconditional love is the base of a satisfactory package.
This comment sent to the background of “Twelfth of Never” and “River Deep Mountain High”. Bliss
Sorry to be a month late to your post but catching up after 22 days of travel — to Italy and the east coast of the U.S. Did a great cooking lesson in Italy & posted it on my blog if you are interested (and, coincidentally, also did a post on the beauty in simplicity–similar theme to your post here).
But I love Lao Tzu’s quote and so had to comment. Accepting a muddy, torn up garden. Rejoicing in being home, feeling healthy and being able to cook in my own kitchen after 3 weeks away.
your trip sounds amazing Stephanie (and such great photos of your adventures) . I enjoyed your simplicity post and love Paulo Coelho too. Time I re-read some of his books I think – hmm now which one…
