You may have noticed these beauties toasting on the fire at our plot barbie and wondered what they were? Robin is big on bread and treated us to Turkish style flatbreads stuffed with leaves straight from the garden (dandelion, rocket, spinach or whatever he could lay his hands on) and oozy feta cheese. SImply divine.
Thanks Robin, you rock in bread world!
Pat’s camper van doubled up as Robin’s prep counter and here he is snapping some pictures for his new blog.
Check out Robinaccio for the dough recipe and ‘how to..’
The food looked great at your allotment bbq, I bet your potato salad went down well too. And it was good to see that the weather was ok for it. We’ve been having thunderstorms here recently, the rain has been torrential again.
I agree with you about fresh cooked beetroot, I love it. I’m hoping I’ll have enough this year to try making a chutney with it.
I’ve sneaked over from Robin’s new blog. I don’t have an allotment, but we do try to grow veg and fruit and I go foraging when I walk the dogs… what a lovely blog you have! I love the cordials and all the pics. Best wishes, Joanna
